Do You Need a Visa?

Visa requirements vary by nationality. We strongly recommend checking official US government guidance well in advance of your travel.

Visa Waiver Program (ESTA)

Many countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program, allowing stays of up to 90 days without a visa. You'll still need to apply for ESTA authorization before travel. Apply for ESTA

Allow Plenty of Time

Processing times for US visas can take several weeks or longer. We recommend beginning the process as early as possible - ideally 3–6 months before the event.

Invitation Letters

Visa Documentation

We do not issue formal invitation letters. Your registration confirmation email serves as official proof of your attendance and includes all relevant event details - please use that for your visa application.

Traveling to Chicago

By Air

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is approximately 20 miles from the venue. Taxi, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), and airport shuttle services are available. Journey time is typically 30–45 minutes depending on traffic.

International Attendee FAQs

Yes. SAPinsider Summit Chicago is an in-person event. Registered attendees receive post-event access to available session materials.

All transactions are in US Dollars (USD). Major credit cards are accepted everywhere at the venue and in Chicago generally.

Standard US electrical outlets are 120V/60Hz with Type A/B plugs. International attendees may need a plug adapter. No special import permits are required for personal laptops.

If your visa application is denied, please contact events@sapinsider.org with documentation. We'll work with you on a refund or transfer to a future event.
